United Foods was the first company in the food distribution business to achieve HACCP standards in the Maldives back in 2008. These standards have now been reviewed and updated in 2016 to include ISO 9002 certification too. We have evolved and enhanced its’ warehousing infrastructure in line with increased requirement for better health and hygienic standards, especially when dealing with temperature controlled items. Understanding that space constraints in Male’ will always limit enhanced health requirements, UFS have now opened the country’s largest chiller and cold storage space at our Hulhumale’ premises offering a massive 3,000 tons of space with shelving and modern equipment to store and retrieve items.
